Three kinds
There are three main ways to install kitchen sinks: countertop basins, countertop basins, and undercounter basins.
Countertop basin: this is the simplest and most common way to install, the sink is placed on the countertop, fixed with glass glue. It has the advantage of being easy to install and easy to replace, but the disadvantage is that it is less aesthetically pleasing and prone to accumulation of dirt and bacteria in the crevices
Taichung Basin: This installation method requires the edge of the sink to be flush with the countertop, and requires a high level of craftsmanship for installation. It has the advantage of being aesthetically pleasing and easy to clean the countertop, but the disadvantage is that it is complicated to install and has a higher cost.
Undercounter Basin: The undercounter basin is fully installed under the countertop, secured by adhesive or special hardware. The advantage of this method is that it has a simple and beautiful appearance and is easy to clean the countertop, but the disadvantage is that it is less load-bearing, and if it is not installed properly, it may cause the sink to fall, and the cost is high.
